We will make our way to Gilgit City, the capital of the Gilgit-Baltistan region. From Gilgit, we will continue our journey towards Karimabad, Hunza, passing through the beautiful towns of Nagar Hunza. Finally, we will arrive in Hunza, where we can check-in at our hotel and relax after a long day of traveling. We will start our 3rd day of Hunza Autumn Tour by visiting the apricot garden along the ancient Altit Fort, which dates back to over 800 years. The fort is situated on a hilltop overlooking the town of Karimabad and offers breathtaking views of the valley below. Here, we can explore the fort's history and architecture and admire the intricate wood carvings and decorations. Next, we will visit the famous Baltit Fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and was once the residence of the Mirs of Hunza. The fort is located in the heart of Karimabad and offers fantastic autumn views of the valley and the surrounding peaks. After that, we will drive up to Duikar, a viewpoint that offers some of the most stunning panoramic views of Hunza Valley. From here, we can see the entire valley spread out below us, with the iconic Rakaposhi and Ultar peaks towering in the distance. We will then make our way to the breathtaking Attabad Lake, which is famous for its turquoise blue waters and stunning surroundings.
