Kartarpur Tour Pakistan will embark on a profound pilgrimage to Gurudwara “Darbar Sahib” Kartarpur from Lahore, a journey rich with spiritual significance and cultural exploration. Starting with a scenic drive of 145 kilometers, we’ll traverse through picturesque landscapes of the plains of Punjab known for its rice fields on our way to this revered site. Upon arrival, we’ll pass through necessary security checks and immerse ourselves in the tranquil atmosphere of the Gurudwara “Darbar Sahib” Kartarpur. Highlights of the visit include;-

  • Exploring ancient holy wells used by Guru Nanak Sahib.

Gurdwara “Darbar Sahib” Brief History:

Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Katarpur also called Kartarpur Sahib is a Gurdwara, in Kartarpur, Narowal District, Pakistan. It is built on the historic site where Guru Nanak settled and assembled the Sikh commune after his missionary travels. The present gurdawara was built on the site where Guru Nanak died, on 22nd September 1539. The Gurdwara is aIso notable for its location near the border between Pakistan and India.

Guru Nanak (1409-1539) the founder of Sikhism and the first of the ten Sikh Gurus, was born in a village known as Talwandi Rai-bhoe, the present Nankana Sahib. His birth is celebrated worldwide as Guru Nanak Gurpurab on Kartik Pooranmashi. the full-moon day in the month of Katak, October-November. Guru Nanak traveled far and wide teaching people the message of one God who dwells in every one of his creations and constitutes the eternal Truth. He set up a unique spiritual, social, and political platform based on equality and fraternal love. goodness. and virtue.

Guru Nonak’s words are registered in the form of 974 poetic hymns in the holy text of Sikhism, the Guru Granth Sahib, with some of the major prayers being the Japji Sahib, the Asa di Var, and the Shidh Ghost. It is part of Sikh religious authority descended upon each of the nine subsequent Gurus when the Guruship was devolved onto them. There are approximately 43 Sikh  Gurdwaras in different cities of Pakistan.
