Let's pack up and leave for Swat in a festive mood. Follow M1 (Islamabad- Peshawar Motorway) till Karnal SherKhan Interchange and follow M16 (Swat Motorway) to Saidu Sharif. The landscape along the way is eye-catching and smooth. By midday, you will reach your hotel. After freshening up you will have your lunch at the hotel or any other place of choice. In the afternoon you will start your Swat Valley tour by visiting the beautiful museum with its knowledgeable staff to explain the historical artifacts. later in the day you will visit the Mangora Bazar to explore the various attractions including gemstones, Swat emeralds, etc and also the traditional wear and crafts of the Yousazai Traibe and other tribes of Swat. Kawa at some tea stall with chats with the locals will be an added delight.
The second day is dedicated to exploring the fascinating Buddhist history and Gandhara heritage of Swat. Amluk Dara, Tokar Dara group and Butkara of Stupas are the most famous Buddhist sites to visit during the day.
In the morning we will move to the fairyland of Swat Valley, MalamJabba. We will reach by midday and after freshening up will have lunch. After lunch, we will have a detailed view of the MalamJabba Ski Resort. Enjoy the snow sports and get happily closer to Christmas night.
In the evening you will have Christmas celebrations and enjoy the chilling winter night in the warmth of Christmas.
Christmas day will be spent on the slopes of MalamJabba with the enjoyment of various winter sports and a snow walk around the scenic MalamJabba. You have the choice to choose your interest. Photography of the happy moments will continue throughout the day. The local cuisine will be a nice idea for testing you taste buds. This evening too shall be spent in celebrations.
After the Christmas celebrations, you will start back journey by 11:00 am. Your lunch will be served at Mangora Riverside with a view of Swat River. After lunch you will travel back to Islamabad by M-16 and later M-1 Motorway. By evening you will reach back to Islamabad with a sweet memory of the tour to reflect and rejoice later.
